About the position
As a traveling installer at Västanfors Steel Structures, you will become an important part of our team working on-site at construction projects across the country, primarily in Central Sweden. You will participate in the daily installation of our buildings, where our work covers steel structures, prefabricated elements, and sheet metal. The work is carried out in close cooperation with installation management and project designers, and together you ensure that every construction is executed with high quality and safety. You will be based from your home somewhere in Central Sweden.

Examples of tasks:

• Install steel structures and prefabricated elements on-site in our construction projects
• Perform self-inspections according to quality and safety routines
• Represent Västanfors Steel Structures on-site in the project
• Participate in construction meetings as needed

Since the projects are located across Sweden, you need to be comfortable traveling and working away from home during the week. We normally work from Monday morning to Thursday afternoon, but other working hours may occur depending on project needs.

The position is a permanent employment starting as soon as possible, directly employed by Västanfors Steel Structures.

About you
We are looking for you who has experience in construction work or similar fields, preferably with a background in prefabrication or steel construction, and who sees your future within the construction industry. It is important that you have a good understanding of construction processes, are hands-on, and hold a Category B driver's license.

To thrive in this role, you are solution-oriented and see opportunities rather than problems. You enjoy being active, take responsibility for your work, and are meticulous regarding both quality and safety. You like to plan ahead, are flexible, and find it easy to collaborate with others. Since you also spend a lot of time with your colleagues, it is an advantage if you are social and outgoing.

Experience with welding, simpler sheet metal work, as well as work with lifts and telescopic handlers is meritorious. Certifications such as "Safe Lifting", "Fall Protection", "BAM", and "Hot Work" are a plus – but not a requirement.
