About the role

We are looking for a TIG welder for a project with our client in Västerås, starting after the summer.

As a TIG welder, you will work with welding components and details in production. The role places high demands on precision and quality awareness, as the work is performed according to established instructions and quality requirements. You will become an important part of the operations and contribute to ensuring efficient and safe production.

Main responsibilities

• Manual TIG welding according to drawings and instructions
• Welding in continuous production
• Performing self-inspections and quality controls
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Assembly and processing of components
• Documentation according to current procedures and work orders
• Participation in improvement and development work
• Work according to 5S, safety, and quality routines

The position is a full-time consultancy assignment. You will be employed by Adecco and work on behalf of our client.

About you

To succeed in this role, we see that you are an experienced TIG welder with a strong focus on quality and precision. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and quality-conscious. You thrive in a practical role where precision and order are crucial for a successful result.

Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding in an industrial or workshop environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good understanding of quality requirements and documentation
• Experience welding stainless steel is an advantage
• Experience with robotic welding or automated welding processes is an advantage
• Good computer skills and knowledge of the Office suite
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing, as well as good knowledge of English
