About the Role

Our client is currently seeking a traveling welder/fitter for their production and project operations. Here you will have the opportunity to combine practical workshop work with installation and assembly at customer sites – both in Sweden and internationally. The assignment starts as a temporary position via Ikett Personalpartner with very good prospects of transitioning to a permanent role with the client.

About the Role:

At our client's facility, you will work with manufacturing, assembly, and preparations in production, before participating in installation and final assembly at customer sites. The work consists of a combination of welding, assembly, and practical problem-solving, where you become involved in the entire process – from the finished product in the factory to the completed installation on-site.

The main focus is on MIG welding, although some TIG welding is also performed. The work includes assembling components, making adjustments during installation, and working according to instructions and drawings. Projects vary in scope, and travel assignments can range from short trips to longer periods depending on the client's needs.

Most of the working time is spent in the factory, but travel is a natural part of the role and can occur both within Sweden and internationally. This role suits you if you appreciate variety, enjoy seeing the final result of your work, and thrive in environments where conditions may change from project to project.

Your Profile:

We are looking for you who have experience in welding and assembly within industry or workshops and who thrive in a practical role with high variation. You are self-reliant, solution-oriented, and confident in working both in production and at customer sites.

To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to different projects and conditions. You value collaboration but also take responsibility when the situation requires independent decisions. We believe you have a technical interest and appreciate working close to the finished product.

Requirements:

• Experience with MIG welding
• Experience with industrial assembly or workshop work
• Good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written)
• Category B driver's license and access to a car
• Forklift and overhead crane certificates
• Ability to travel for work

Merits:

• Experience with TIG welding
• Experience with installation or traveling assembly
• Experience working internationally

Working Hours: Daytime
Start Date: Immediately or as agreed.

The assignment is initially a temporary position via Ikett with very good prospects of transitioning to a permanent role with the client.
