Aura Train & Rail is a new and specialized business area within Aura Personal, created to meet the growing need for the right skills in the train and railway industry – here and now, and over time. We are currently looking for Track Welders based in Gothenburg!

As a track welder, you will work in a team on maintenance and new construction of rails. The work is varied and takes place in track environments, where safety, precision, and collaboration are crucial. You will also be involved in identifying, handling, and addressing deviations within your area of responsibility at an early stage.

Common tasks include:

• Butt welding and overlay welding
• Cutting and grinding
• Stick brazing and gas brazing

Working hours will vary. Since travel, on-call duties at home, as well as weekend and night work are involved, it is important that you live in the local area to minimize commuting to and from the workplaces.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Completed upper secondary education
• Completed basic training in track welding (thermite and overlay welding)
• Experience in track welding within the railway sector
• Category B driver's license (manual transmission)
• Meets medical requirements to be approved for security service

Advantageous qualifications:

• Further education in track welding
• Category C driver's license

As the position involves work in security-classified areas, a security clearance check is always conducted before an employment offer is made.
