Do you want to work closely with some of Scania's most important grocery stores and help them develop one of the store's most exciting categories?

Tropic Snacks is now looking for a Regional Manager responsible for Scania. This role is perfect for you if you enjoy building customer relationships, driving sales, and developing the store's category through assortment, campaigns, exposure, and smart in-store solutions.

About Tropic Snacks Tropic Snacks was founded in 2006 and is today primarily established in Scania. We work with high-quality natural snacks and nuts, delivering directly to stores. In the stores where we are present, we act as category captains and help the store develop the entire section for natural snacks and nuts.

Our products are based on selected raw materials, authentic Belgian chocolate, high innovation rate, and products without palm oil. We are now strengthening our field organization to continue growing, develop our most important stores, and create even better in-store execution.

About the role As a Regional Sales Manager, you are responsible for developing our largest and most strategically important stores in the region. The focus is on the approximately 40 largest stores, which account for a significant part of our turnover, as well as active new customer acquisition in Scania.

You will be Tropic Snacks' commercial representative in the region and work closely with traders, store managers, and those responsible in the stores. Your mission is to increase sales, visibility, and profitability by selling new products, campaigns, secondary placements, and improved store solutions.

The role also involves acting as a category partner within nut snacks. You help the stores develop the nut shelf so that it drives value, volume, and profitability. This means you follow up on sales, analyze potential, discuss shelf space, and suggest concrete improvements.

Your main responsibilities

  • Be responsible for and develop the relationship with the region's largest and most prioritized stores.
  • Drive sales through new products, campaigns, secondary placements, and exposure.
  • Work actively for increased shelf space, better placement, and increased visibility in the store.
  • Act as a category partner within nut snacks and help the store develop the category.
  • Analyze sales, store potential, and campaign results.
  • Provide feedback to stores with concrete improvement suggestions.
  • Renegotiate agreements and carry out price adjustments in a professional manner.
  • Drive new customer acquisition in the region.
  • Coordinate with Teamleader and Regional Merchandisers to ensure that sold activities are carried out in the store.
Who are you?

We are looking for you who are business-driven, structured, and relationship-building. You enjoy being out in the store, building long-term customer relationships, and using sales data to create results.

You have a natural ability to build trust, while also daring to challenge the store's current state with clear arguments and facts. You understand that a sold activity is not complete until it works in the store.

We are looking for you who have

  • Experience in sales towards grocery retail, retail, FMCG, or similar.
  • Good understanding of store, category, campaign, and exposure.
  • Experience in customer dialogue, selling-in, and follow-up.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and translate it into concrete actions.
  • Understanding of margin, price, volume, and the store's commercial logic.
  • Ability to plan and structure your own customer processing.
  • Driver's license class B.
  • Good Swedish in speech and writing.
  • Basic digital skills, for example Excel, Power BI, CRM, or similar tools.

It is meritorious if you have experience from the grocery trade, category development, ICA/Coop processing, snacks, confectionery, bulk, or colonial goods.
