Your Responsibilities

The teaching role with us involves inspiring and guiding students in their learning and development. You create safe and stimulating learning environments where every student has the opportunity to grow and reach their full potential. As a teacher, you collaborate closely with colleagues, students, and guardians, and you actively contribute to the school's community and pedagogical development. You will teach Social Studies, Religion, Sociology, and the Upper Secondary Project Work (Gymnasiearbete). In addition to teaching, you will also plan, assess, grade, and be instrumental in developing subject teaching at the school together with your colleagues. You will also serve as a study coach for a small group of students and have coaching conversations with your students every week, either individually or in groups. You help them plan and set goals for their studies, and you follow up on these goals together.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a certified subject teacher with qualifications and experience in some or several of the following subjects: Social Studies, Religion, Sociology & Upper Secondary Project Work. In this appointment, we will place great emphasis on your personal competencies. To be successful and sustainable in the role, you should be relational, collaborative, and solution-focused. We are looking for someone who has a secure and close leadership style in the classroom that can create an environment where students feel safe, respected, and seen. As a teacher, you establish clear frameworks and expectations in accordance with the school's concept while being accessible, responsive, and engaged in the students' individual needs. You build strong relationships by being present and creating a sense of belonging, where all students dare to participate and express themselves. By showing empathy, consistency, and a calm approach, you create a secure classroom climate that promotes both learning and personal development.
