Mark Workshop East is a department within the Land Workshops Unit (MvE), which belongs to the Army Staff. Mv East has approximately 80 employees and operates in Eksjö, Linköping, and Kvarn. This position is located in Linköping.
The Land Workshops perform maintenance on the Swedish Armed Forces' land equipment and deliver technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of supervision, repairs, manufacturing, dismantling/scraping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptation, and equipment inspection.
Main Responsibilities
As a Telecommunications Technician at the Land Workshops, you will perform functional tests, troubleshooting, and repairs on the Swedish Armed Forces' communications equipment. The tasks include maintenance of soldier-carried and vehicle-mounted telecommunication, radio, and line systems commonly found in our land forces. Many tasks, both troubleshooting and repairs, take place in a computer/network environment in our telecommunications workshop. However, there are also tasks and assignments on-site with our units or in other locations under simpler field conditions.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- We are looking for you who have completed at least a two- or three-year upper secondary education with a focus on electricity/telecommunications/technology, or alternatively, competence acquired through professional experience that the employer assesses as equivalent.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
- Good computer skills.
- B-driver's license.

Merits
- Documented experience in configuration/troubleshooting of computers and networks.
- Documented experience in troubleshooting/repair within electricity/electronics.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of the Swedish Armed Forces' telecommunication/radio/line systems.
- C-driver's license.
- Military service certificate.

- Employment type: Permanent position starting with a 6-month probationary period.
- Employment level: Full-time, daytime – varying working hours may occur.
- Work location: Linköping.
- Start date: As soon as possible after agreement.
The work also involves requirements for travel and duty, both domestic and international.
