Montico is currently looking for a Security Technician for a client in Linköping.

Job Description

As a Security Technician, you will work with the commissioning, installation, and maintenance of security systems. Projects can range from two weeks to several months and cover all business areas, including alarms, CCTV, access control, and fire alarms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installing and commissioning intrusion alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Troubleshooting and servicing security systems.
• Performing maintenance services according to established routines using modern digital tools.
• Participating in documentation processes.
• Collaborating closely with project managers, technicians, and external suppliers.
• Maintaining dialogue with the customer regarding status, needs, and improvement measures.

We are looking for you who

You have an education in electricity, technology, or IT, preferably with post-secondary studies in security technology, electrical installation, or network technology. Certification in a relevant area (e.g., SSF 1016, fire alarm SBF 1007) is a plus.

You need to have work experience within security systems, alarms, access control, video surveillance (CCTV), or fire alarms. You should be accustomed to working with the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security systems.

We would prefer that you have technical competence in security systems from manufacturers such as RCO, Axema, ASSA, Lenel, Bosch, Honeywell, or equivalent. Knowledge of fire alarm systems from e.g., Schrack Seconet, Securifire, or Schneider, or equivalent, is also desirable. Understanding of networks and IT security related to security systems, as well as experience with electrical installations and low-voltage systems, are important qualifications.

• Valid driver's license (Category B).
