Your responsibilities
You adapt teaching to meet students' needs and create a safe, inspiring, and structured learning environment. Being a teacher means constantly developing based on the students we meet. It involves capturing students' interests and creating challenging teaching at the appropriate level.
Our craft workshops provide the right conditions for varied and safe lessons. In addition to teaching, the role includes planning, assessment, and documentation that make student learning visible, creating the conditions for them to reach their goals.
You work both independently and together with colleagues, including through cross-curricular collaboration that strengthens student learning and school development.

Your qualifications
You are a certified teacher in primary education with qualifications in Textile Craft (Textilslöjd). Additional subject qualifications are meritorious. You are comfortable using compensatory aids in your work to meet students' needs, and digital tools are a natural part of your teaching.
With secure pedagogical leadership, engagement, and clarity, you create participation, trust, and good cooperation with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are structured and plan, organize, and prioritize your work, while flexibly adapting teaching to students' needs and changing circumstances. Collaboration is a natural part of your work, both in planning and in sharing knowledge and experiences.

Recruitment process
We have a central and common recruitment process for teachers in primary education. Positions are filled continuously based on the schools' needs, and the advertisement is updated continuously with open positions. When you submit your application, you will have the opportunity to express your preference for schools, and if you proceed after a potential interview, you can visit the schools that match the current need.
If you are not a trained teacher, your application may be forwarded to principals with open temporary positions.
If you are already working as a teacher in our schools today but are interested in changing units, you need to apply here. However, you do not need to go through the entire recruitment process.
When you apply, you fill out a questionnaire and have the opportunity to specify which school or schools you are interested in. In your application, we ask that you attach:

Other information
Before you can be employed, you must show a clean extract from the police criminal record.
In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of residence together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
