A nursing assistant at Norlandia is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their professional role and enjoys meeting people in various situations. Together in a team with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we collaborate around the resident to provide a good life every day.

We are looking for you with a genuine interest in elderly care, where your main tasks are to design safe and secure personal care and support. You support the resident in their daily life and create conditions for a secure and meaningful everyday life. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing high-quality care and support in accordance with the care plan agreed upon with the resident.

This includes, among other things:

• Working as a contact person based on Norlandia's concept Your Day.
• Personal care and support, and utilizing the residents' own resources.
• Working based on Norlandia's concept Tasty Meal so that our residents appreciate the food and that the meal experience adds value to everyday life.
• Documentation according to the Social Services Act; maintaining a social journal and creating and following up on care plans.
• Planning, offering, and conducting daily activities, outdoor time, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individually and in groups.
• Performing service tasks such as apartment cleaning, laundry, escorting, and shopping, among others.
• Receiving and performing delegated tasks, such as medication delegation.
• Taking responsibility in ombudsman roles.
• Actively participating in the organization's quality and improvement work.

About Fyllinge Elderly Care Home

Fyllinge has 54 modern apartments distributed across six units, two units focused on dementia and four units with a somatic focus. Each unit has a kitchen, dining room, living room, and a balcony or outdoor area for socializing, meals, and activities. In the own garden, there are good opportunities for outdoor time and activities. Norlandia operates Fyllinge independently.

• You must have proof of the right to use the professional title "nursing assistant" from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• It is an advantage if you have specialized training in dementia.
• You must have a very good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Computer skills and an understanding of the importance of good documentation knowledge are required.
• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations.

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to produce an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
