The Faculty of Technology and Health Sciences offers education and research in technology, health, and information design, with a clear focus on societal challenges. The faculty comprises three departments where a total of approximately 500 people work.

The Department of Technology brings together much of the university's higher education and civil engineering programs in energy technology, mechanical engineering, robotics, building technology, environmental technology, and industrial systems. Internationally recognized research is conducted here, focusing on future energy and industrial systems. Collaboration with industry and society is central to developing sustainable, resource-efficient, and competitive solutions for tomorrow's society.

Responsibilities

As a Research Assistant, your responsibilities include:

• Operational tasks in the automation and robotics laboratory
• Instructing and assisting researchers and students during experiments/tests in the automation and robotics laboratory
• Assisting researchers and students in prototype workshops
• Being responsible for operational elements in project courses within industrial development
• Coordinating collaboration activities with upper secondary schools and primary schools in the field of technology

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Furthermore, you have experience with:

• Operation and maintenance of automated production
• Operational instruction of personnel in the operation and maintenance of automated production equipment
• Designing and planning production technology research and/or educational projects
• Operational contribution to the planning and implementation of university-level course modules
• Operation and maintenance of humanoid robots

Additionally, you are proficient in using MS Office, especially Excel. You express yourself well in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.

Merits

For this position, experience in complex production, such as EV technology or similar, is meritorious.
