Your Responsibilities
You adapt teaching to meet the students' needs and create a secure, inspiring, and structured learning environment. By capturing their interest in music, you create engaging and challenging lessons where students can explore and develop various musical forms of expression. You work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues, including cross-curricular cooperation that strengthens student learning and school development.

- Grades 7-9, Nybyggeskolan, and Hammarbyskolan grade 6 (at Nybyggeskolan premises)
- Grades 7-9, Önstaskolan

Your Qualifications
You are a certified teacher in primary school with qualifications in music. It is an advantage if you are qualified in an additional subject. You are comfortable using compensatory aids in your work to meet student needs, and digital tools are a natural part of your teaching.
With secure pedagogical leadership, engagement, and clarity, you create participation, trust, and good cooperation with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are structured in planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work, while flexibly adapting teaching to student needs and changing circumstances. Collaboration is a natural part of your work, both in planning and in sharing knowledge and experience.

Recruitment Process
We have a central and common recruitment process for teachers in primary school. Positions are filled continuously based on the schools' needs, and the advertisement is updated continuously with vacant positions. When you submit your application, you have the opportunity to express your preference for schools, and if you proceed after a possible interview, you can visit the schools that match the current need.
If you are not a trained teacher, your application may be forwarded to principals with vacant temporary positions.
If you already work as a teacher in our schools today but are interested in changing units, you need to apply here. However, you do not need to go through the entire recruitment process.
When you apply, you fill out a questionnaire and have the opportunity to specify which school or schools you are interested in. In your application, we ask that you attach:

Other Information
Before you can be employed, you must show a clean extract from the police criminal record.
In connection with the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or alternatively a certificate of residence together with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the obligation to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after control of the work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
