Huddinge Samhällsfastigheter is a municipally owned property company that owns and manages the majority of Huddinge's schools and preschools, as well as nursing homes, sports facilities, and outdoor recreation areas. Huddinge Samhällsfastigheter is centrally located in Huddinge, within walking distance to the commuter train station. A bus stop is just outside the office. Parking is available at the office.

Do you want to work outdoors and contribute to creating safe, functional, and pleasant outdoor environments for children, the elderly, and operations within Huddinge? We are now looking for an Outdoor Environment Technician to join our outdoor environment team.
The position is a temporary assignment covering parental leave from September 2026 to January 31, 2027.
Job Responsibilities
As an Outdoor Environment Technician with us, you handle fault reports and follow up on the work of our maintenance contractors in the outdoor environments at schools, preschools, nursing homes, and sports facilities. You have your own area where you ensure that the environments are well-maintained, safe, and functioning as intended.
The work is varied and follows the changes of the seasons, and includes among other things:
- Performing repairs and maintenance work in outdoor environments
- Following up on maintenance contractors' work such as mowing, trimming, weed control, leaf management, and snow removal
- Performing simple construction works and maintaining ground equipment
- Patrolling outdoor environments and following up on functional checks of playgrounds
- Handling and following up on fault reports in our property system
- Ordering and following up on contractors' work in outdoor environments
- Contributing to improvements and development of outdoor environments
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- has a few years of experience in property maintenance and repairs
- has a valid B driver's license
- has good ability to work independently and plan your work
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience working with contractors and/or maintenance agreements
- education in gardening, outdoor environments, or civil engineering/landscaping
- experience working with digital systems
- experience in operation and maintenance of outdoor environments or park and garden work
Personal Attributes
You enjoy working outdoors year-round and are motivated by taking responsibility for your tasks and your area. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, and have the ability to prioritize when the pace is fast.
You have good collaboration skills and are service-oriented in interactions with colleagues, tenants, and contractors.
About the Position
This is a full-time temporary position for the period of September 2026 to January 31, 2027, with start date by agreement.
