Aura Rail is looking for a Field Mechanic for rail-bound work vehicles!

Do you want to work with advanced technology and contribute to keeping the railway in top condition? We are now looking for a driven and meticulous mechanic specializing in work vehicles and rail vehicles for an exciting assignment.

About the role
As a mechanic, you will work with the service, maintenance, and repair of work vehicles and rail-bound machinery. You will become a vital part of ensuring operational safety and functionality in a technically advanced and safety-critical environment.

Your responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of rail vehicles and work machines
• Troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and hydraulic systems
• Preventive maintenance according to established procedures
• Documentation of completed work

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience as a mechanic, preferably in heavy vehicles, construction machinery, or railways
• Has good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and preferably electrical systems
• Is meticulous, responsible, and solution-oriented
• Thrives in both independent work and team settings
• Can work flexible hours and travel across the country
• Has a valid driver's license (Category B) (required)

We consider it a merit if you have experience with rail vehicles or railway maintenance, as well as certifications in relevant areas. Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting is highly valued.
