We at TCM Cykel in Söderhamn are now looking for a technically interested maintenance mechanic for troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of electric bikes, drive systems, and associated technical equipment.

You will work together with a team of about 20 employees, including approximately 10 mechanics, in our completely newly renovated premises in central Söderhamn, featuring a large, state-of-the-art workshop.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and diagnostics of electrical and mechanical systems
• Repair and renovation of drive systems, motors, and components
• Preventive maintenance to ensure operational safety and lifespan
• Installation, configuration, and functional testing of new systems and components
• Technical analysis and warranty investigations
• Documentation of performed maintenance and repair work
• Quality control and verification of function after service
• Work with both new and used units
• Collaboration with suppliers regarding technical support issues

About the Position

• Location: Söderhamn
• Compensation: Fixed monthly salary
• Working hours: Weekdays 07:00–16:00

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance, service, or repair
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Interest in electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience working systematically with technical documentation
• Experience with motors, drive systems, e-bike motors, or other technical equipment is an advantage

Who is TCM?

TCM is a company with high ambitions and strong growth. We operate in two locations in Sweden – Tyresö and Söderhamn – and depending on the season, we have a total of 30–40 employees.

In Söderhamn, we have our headquarters, warehouse, shop, and workshop, where we have just moved into Granvägen 1 in central Söderhamn. The premises have been fully renovated and tailored to our operations, featuring a new, spacious workshop, a new shop, new offices, staff rooms, storage, etc.

Söderhamn is beautifully located by the sea, two hours north of Stockholm, 45 minutes from Gävle, and 30 minutes from Hudiksvall. TCM's new premises are within a 10-minute walk from the train station and bus stop, offering great commuting opportunities.
