Responsibilities

In the role of Service Engineer, your main focus is on microscopy. You work with everything from simple stereo microscopes to advanced systems for research, IVF clinics, and industrial customers. You will base your work from home or the office at Nääs Fabriker in Tollered, and your assignments will take place at customer sites in Sweden and partly in Finland. The work is usually performed independently, but you will also collaborate regularly with colleagues from the service and sales departments as well as with suppliers.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Service and repair work on Bergman Labora's systems at customer sites, both under planned contracts and for urgent repairs.
• Installation and ensuring that delivered equipment functions according to specifications and meets customer expectations.
• Training customers in the operation of the systems.
• Performing calibrations and verifications of the equipment.
• Providing support to customers via phone and email.
• Participation in the sales of service contracts.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in engineering or a Life Science-related field.
• Previous experience working as a technical engineer in a laboratory, company, or as a field technician.
• Interest and/or experience in servicing and repairing laboratory equipment.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Valid driver's license (Category B).
• Proficiency in PC usage.
