We are approximately 350 colleagues within the Child and Education Administration who work within four school areas with children and students aged 1-16. We work to ensure that all children and young people have a good learning environment where they feel safe and are given the opportunity to achieve good results. Welcome to one of our four school areas: Lärcenter, Skived, Ullerud, and Grossbol.

Description

Dejeskolan's vision is that we are a school for all students, where everyone is given the opportunity to succeed. We want to be a school where students and adults learn together. We strive for good results and know that they are achieved through collaboration and good relationships. Dejeskolan is a grades F-9 school and, in addition to primary school, also has a leisure center and adapted primary school. Olsäterskolan is a grades F-5 school with a leisure center and belongs to the Ullerud school area.

Job Description

We are now looking for a teacher in Science and Technology for grades 4–9. You will teach in one or more of the subjects biology, physics, chemistry, and technology, and will be part of a work team together with other teachers for grades 7-9. Together, you will plan and develop the operations based on our steering documents.

You are responsible for the planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation of the teaching, as well as documentation related to your subjects. The assignment also includes contributing to the students' knowledge development and creating a safe and stimulating learning environment where curiosity, problem-solving, and an investigative approach are in focus.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with suitable teacher qualifications and certification. You have a solid and burning interest in children/young people and in developing and driving the school's operations based on steering documents.

We assume that you are secure with the school's basic values and have a positive and professional attitude towards students, guardians, and colleagues.

We see it as important qualities to be able to work independently, take initiative, and put ideas into practice. Just as important is that you have good cooperation skills and contribute to a positive work climate.

We would like you to have experience working with students in need of special support. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
