About the job
The Law Enforcement Division's mission is to prevent, counteract, and investigate economic crime, serious tax evasion, both nationally and internationally, as well as the use of population registration as a criminal tool.
We are looking for you who, through collaboration with other authorities, want to work with in-depth investigations aimed at combating serious organized crime, criminal economy, and the exploitation of welfare systems. The investigations often cover several tax categories, and you will investigate undeclared income, undeclared labor, undeclared wages, and various schemes designed to reduce or completely avoid tax.
The work requires high efficiency and quality, and you are expected to be able to assess which measure and form of investigation is best suited for the individual case.
You will belong to Section 1 at Law Enforcement Unit 7 within the Law Enforcement Division, based in Malmö. The unit consists of approximately 160 colleagues.
About you

In this role, you will:

You must also have:
- a university education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in economics, law, or another relevant university education for the position
- current and relevant work experience from economic or audit work, or alternatively, current and relevant experience from work with in-depth investigations or audits at a government agency.
It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience of qualified work within tax law/taxation from the Swedish Tax Agency.
Good to know
The position is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period.
A position with us may involve security clearance. A security investigation with register check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted prior to the decision on employment. For some of our security-cleared tasks, Swedish citizenship is required.
