At our place, you get varied workdays where no day is the same. You work with everything from cooking and serving to conferences, events, and sometimes even in our retail shop, Björsgården.

About Dössberget

Dössberget Kitchen & Café is located high above Bjursås with a fantastic view over Dalarna's forests and mountains. Here, we cook food from scratch with a focus on local ingredients and genuine flavor experiences.

In addition to lunch and dinner service, we arrange conferences, catering, weddings, memorial services, corporate events, and music evenings. We also run the Björsgården retail shop with crafts, delicacies, and local products.

Job Responsibilities

In the role we might call "housekeeper" or "host/hostess," you work with both the kitchen, service, and hospitality. The tasks include preparing lunches, meal boxes, and custom menus, as well as serving food and drinks to our guests. You participate in preparations for service and contribute to smooth operations through close collaboration with colleagues in the kitchen and service. If needed, you also work in the Björsgården retail shop. An important part of the role is to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, while ensuring good hygiene and food safety, as well as contributing to order, quality, and well-being.

We are looking for you who

Have experience in both cooking and serving and are passionate about providing guests with a warm and professional reception. You are service-oriented, responsible, and positive, while enjoying varied tasks and being able to switch between different roles during the workday. Since the pace can sometimes be high, it is important that you are flexible, solution-oriented, and maintain your composure even when things get busy. You speak Swedish and preferably also English, and have a B-class driver's license.
