Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cost Estimation Engineer with a background in electrical and telecommunication systems for our market area Electrical Engineering South.

Here, you will work on technically advanced assignments and support our customers with cost calculations, cost assessments, and estimation work within electrical and telecommunication systems – from early stages to implementation. We are an engaged team with a strong presence in southern and central Sweden, and we want to grow.

We are now looking for you who currently work as a cost estimator for an electrical contractor and are ready to take the next step – into a consultant role where your competence will be utilized in more arenas and in more types of projects.

You will work with us to develop the organization and enable new market positions. Within our market area, we are all passionate about our fields and share our knowledge to grow and learn more.

In the role of Experienced Cost Estimation Engineer in Electrical/Telecom, you will drive estimation assignments within your area of expertise. Through analysis and calculations, you will be a trusted advisor for our customers – such as clients, property owners, and public procurers – ensuring well-founded decisions can be made. You will work with estimates throughout all stages of a project and contribute to creating predictability and cost optimization for our customers.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have extensive experience in estimation work within electrical and telecommunication systems. You currently work as a cost estimator, preferably for an electrical contractor, and have done so for at least seven years. It is meritorious if you have experience from estimation work in both early stages and project implementation. You are familiar with quantity take-offs and have a good understanding of installation technical systems. Experience with digital tools such as MagiCad, Solibri, or similar is meritorious.

You have a relevant technical education in electrical engineering.

As a person, you have good social skills and are stimulated by having a large network where you create long-lasting and sustainable relationships. Furthermore, we see that you are meticulous and have the ability to see both details and the big picture. You thrive working in a team but also have the ability to work independently. You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as a valid driver's license (Category B). We assume you have basic computer skills and good knowledge of office packages.
