Your role as a construction worker

The projects we undertake often involve a variety of construction techniques such as earthworks, water and sewage (VA), stone setting, etc. The Swedish Transport Administration, municipalities, property owners, and industries are our primary clients. As a construction worker with us, you will work with various types of earth and construction work, such as excavation, pipe laying, and stone setting. This role places a strong emphasis on pipe laying.

The size and type of projects vary, and you need to be creative and solution-focused to reach the final goal. You will become a key person in our daily production together with the colleagues on site in the project.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone already in the industry; we preferably see that you have at least 3 years of practical experience in earthworks and water/sewage work. You likely hold a professional certificate as a construction worker or machine operator, or have acquired equivalent experience in the working life. You are motivated by delivering good work with high quality. You are a team player who shows respect, supports, and cares about your colleagues. At Svevia, safety is highly prioritized. We aim to have the industry's safest workplaces and most secure traffic environments. This means you need to follow the statutory requirements, regulations, and safety instructions associated with the role.

Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a Category B driver's license, are requirements for the role. Having a BE or C driver's license is an advantage.

The Foreman area Malmö is a group of approximately 60 people with competence in earthworks, bridges, and utility construction. The distribution between professional employees and service employees is roughly 50/50. We perform everything from small to large earth and infrastructure projects, and with us, you become part of a cheerful team with a wonderful mix of competent people with varying lengths of experience, both in the industry and at the company.
