About the workplace

SG/Södra Viken is strongly associated with both the forestry and transport industries in Värmland. Many who work in these industries have received their education from us at SG/Södra Viken. The school was founded in 1947 and is now run by Sunne Municipality as the main authority.

The adapted upper secondary school is an important part of the operations and offers education that combines practical learning with individual support. Here, students are given the opportunity to develop based on their prerequisites in a safe and structured environment. The adapted upper secondary school offers two programs: Forest, Land and Animals, and Vehicle Care and Handling.

SG/Södra Viken conducts education in classrooms, in the forest, and on the roads. The school has modern facilities and a well-updated fleet of machinery that enables modern education at the highest level.

Job Duties

Primarily, you will teach theoretical subjects, but teaching in practical subjects together with vocational teachers also occurs.

• Have teacher certification in Mathematics, Swedish, English, Social Studies (SO), or Physical Education in any combination.
• Enjoy working with young people.

• Have a B driver's license.

Conditions

The position is a fixed-term full-time appointment during the school year 2026/2027, with the possibility of possible extension. Before employment can take place, a valid extract from the police's criminal record must be presented. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application period ends. Interviews may also be conducted after the vacation period.
