Damage Assessor at Werksta Haninge – Quality in Assessment and Customer Contact
As a damage assessor at Werksta Haninge, you are responsible for receiving, reviewing, and calculating damages according to the guidelines of insurance companies and the workshop. You work closely with sheet metal workers, painters, service advisors, and damage handlers to ensure a smooth repair flow, accurate cost assessment, and high customer satisfaction. You work in modern tool systems and contribute to efficient processes and clear documentation.
Job Responsibilities – Assessment, Documentation, and Coordination
Receive vehicles and customer information, and perform initial damage assessment
Prepare cost calculations and damage reports according to manufacturer instructions and insurance standards
Collaborate with sheet metal workers and painters for technical assessments and repair methods
Communicate with insurance companies, claims adjusters, and internal teams to ensure correct compensation decisions
Document work and decisions in the workshop system and follow up on ongoing cases
Contribute to cost control through precise calculations and identify opportunities for efficient repair solutions
Follow applicable regulations, industry standards, and the company's routines regarding quality and safety
Requirements & Desired Qualifications
Experience as a damage assessor or a similar role within the automotive industry
Good technical understanding of body, sheet metal, and paint repairs
Experience with workshop systems and damage assessment programs is an advantage
Structured, meticulous, and accustomed to working with documentation
Good communication skills and experience collaborating with multiple disciplines
Class B driver's license and good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
