Do you want meaningful work where you truly make a difference, while still being able to leave in the afternoon for family, rest, and personal interests? Here is your chance to work in municipal primary care in a role that offers daytime hours only!

About the position

With us, you have a unique opportunity to work during daytime hours, 07:00–16:00, with weekend shifts only every 6th–8th weekend. This provides excellent conditions for balancing work and private life, a more predictable daily routine, and time for recovery – while maintaining a role where you work long-term and closely with your patients.

Within Örebro Municipality’s organization for home healthcare, we work in people’s own homes and serve patients aged 18 and above. The operations are divided into smaller geographical areas, or alternatively into the functional support area, which creates good continuity and familiarity with both patients and the local community.

We prioritize safety, quality, and participation, working person-centered with each individual as our starting point. Work is carried out in team-based formats where different professional groups collaborate and contribute their expertise to create safe and cohesive care.

As a nurse with us, you have an independent and qualified assignment where your competence is truly utilized. In the role of permanent care contact, you have the opportunity for continuity and deepened patient relationships, and you are a key part of creating safety and quality in patients' daily lives. There is also room to influence and develop working methods and routines in an operation that actively invests in quality and continuous improvement. Welcome to become part of an operation that combines meaningful care with a sustainable daytime work life.

Examples of tasks:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate health care interventions
  • Make medical assessments
  • Supervise, instruct, and delegate to nursing staff
  • Participate in team meetings and care planning
  • Be the permanent care contact for a number of patients and provide important support to relatives
  • Be responsible for medication management
  • Document in the operational system

About the workplace

The home healthcare area is divided into five geographical areas, and these positions are directed towards the South East, West, North West, North East areas, as well as towards the health care unit.

You are clear in your communication and have the ability to ensure that information reaches its destination. Furthermore, you adapt easily to changed circumstances and see opportunities and solutions in what you face. Additionally, you master the Swedish language to a level where you can communicate with patients and other staff, as well as document what the operation requires.
