Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Care (BUP) is tasked with providing specialized care to children and young people up to 18 years old with psychiatric conditions. Care is always provided in close collaboration with the child's network to create the best possible conditions for treatment and support. We work based on evidence-based methods to ensure safe and effective care. The clinic serves all municipalities in the county. The operation is extensive and is carried out by a competent team with various professional roles: counselors, psychologists, doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, special educators, caretakers, and medical care administrators.
We are located in modern and pleasant premises in central Örebro. Here, there is a good work climate with an open-door policy, where collaboration and engagement are in focus. BUP is currently in an exciting phase of development that includes the development of both the assessment process and the treatment offer. As part of this work, we are expanding the operation with more resources that can contribute to the development.

Job ResponsibilitiesThe job responsibilities include qualified psychological interventions in the form of assessment, treatment, and sometimes investigation. Treatment is given in groups and individually. You will work both independently and in interdisciplinary teams, as well as participate in joint conferences and professional meetings. We collaborate extensively with child care, schools, social services, and other operations within healthcare. The operation actively works on adapting and developing. We are looking for colleagues who want to contribute to and develop our operation.
For you who are a licensed psychologist with three years of clinical experience, supervision by PTP-psychologists may occur.
QualificationsYou are a secure and stable person who inspires trust in all situations. You work in a structured manner and create order and clarity even when situations are complex. You are secure and have the ability to work independently within the framework of your professional practice. With your good collaboration skills, you actively contribute to a positive work climate and see the value in working together to achieve common goals. You are adaptable and find it easy to adjust to changes, while maintaining focus on quality and results. Your empathetic and sensitive side allows you to understand and meet different needs and perspectives - both among colleagues and patients and their networks. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
A Swedish psychologist license with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy is required, as well as experience in assessment and treatment within child and adolescent psychiatry.
It is meritorious to have education in and experience working with TF-CBT or DBT, experience in conducting child psychiatric investigations, as well as education in and experience with group treatment based on evidence-based methods.
ApplicationThe advertisement is conducted during the regular unit manager's vacation period, which may imply limited opportunities to answer questions. Questions are therefore referred to be asked in connection with a possible invitation to an interview. Selection begins in week 30, and interviews will be conducted during weeks 30, 31, and 32.
