Hackås School is now seeking a certified primary school teacher for teaching in preschool class through grade 6. The placement and main responsibilities will be tailored based on your certification and the needs of the operation.

You will have a main responsibility for a class or teaching group. Based on the national curriculum as well as the students' interests and needs, you will plan, implement, and follow up on meaningful and developmental teaching for our students at Hackås School.

In the role of a teacher with us, you will collaborate with other school staff to strengthen each student's knowledge development. Together with colleagues and the principal, you will work towards the development, learning, and influence of all students in the teaching process. We value that our students have fun, feel safe, and get the opportunity to develop based on their own prerequisites.

You are part of a work team where you, together with your colleagues, are responsible for maintaining and further developing the pedagogical operations. All employees at the school are involved in systematic quality work, and you see collegial learning as a natural part of your assignment.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a certified primary school teacher, preferably with previous experience working in primary school. We see that you are well acquainted with the national governing documents for primary school operations and that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language (both spoken and written). If you have good knowledge of systematic development work, we consider this a merit.

Bergs Municipality is a Sami administrative municipality, and we therefore consider it a merit if you have knowledge of South Sami language and culture.

The starting salary range for the position is between 32,000–38,000 SEK for you as a certified teacher. Bergs Municipality applies HÖK/AB (general provisions), appendix M (holiday service) for the position.

The position is a permanent employment with 100% scope, with start date according to agreement before Autumn Term 2026.
