We are looking for a Quality Engineer who wants to coordinate quality assurance in projects. Your responsibilities as a Quality Engineer involve coordinating, recommending, and planning quality assurance activities in assigned projects. You drive and are responsible for improvement measures to continuously raise the quality of our customers' products and our way of working. This is done by finding solutions to emerging problems together with a cross-functional team, as well as by long-term work on quality and process improvement measures.

Your main tasks may include:

• Ensuring product quality and being responsible for quality assurance activities and methods.
• Continuously monitoring the quality status and initiating quality assurance measures when necessary.
• Conducting root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Reviewing and following up on control plans.
• Participating in the preparation and execution of reviews and decision forums.
• Contributing to broadening the department's collective competence.
• Conducting supplier quality assessments.
• Communicating with OEM customers.
• Supporting production in quality matters.

We would like you to have a university or civil engineering degree, or alternatively, experience from a similar role in the manufacturing industry. As a Quality Engineer, you need experience in documenting work, writing instructions, and training colleagues in quality matters.

Since the role involves many contacts, both internally and externally, it is important that you have well-developed communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Technical English should be mastered effortlessly, as much of the work is directed towards international customers, suppliers, and support for our factory in North America.

It is an advantage if you have the following experience: ISO 9001 (requirements for management systems), Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC), PFMEA, PPAP, 8D problem-solving methodology, and blueprint reading.

As a person, you are driven, responsible, and take initiative to improve and streamline working methods. You work independently and are skilled at identifying problems and driving solutions that strengthen and develop our quality work. You have analytical abilities, can prioritize and act flexibly, and adapt to the demands of the situation. You enjoy collaborating in a group, handling multiple contact areas, and building good relationships with colleagues. You have the ability to report and present quality-related milestones.
