Your Role

We are looking for an engaged and empathetic employee for our service housing within social psychiatry. We help and support people with mental disabilities in their daily lives with interventions according to granted assistance. The work is based on the individual's own resources, needs, and wishes and is established via the implementation plan. You are expected to promote good quality of life where the individual is given the best opportunity to develop their abilities and strengths by encouraging, stimulating, and engaging the individual in an educational, motivating, and positive way to increase independence.

The users live in their own apartments connected to common areas. Common tasks include planning and implementing interventions (cleaning, laundry, shopping, hygiene, administration, medication, care, etc.) and collaborating with both internal and external parties/key persons in the user's life. The work also involves offering and motivating activities, social community, and occupation. Staff are responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving meals every day.

Here you will be part of a knowledgeable and warm team working to create a safe and stimulating environment for our users. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring that the users' assessed need for help is carried out. You have special responsibility for the creation, follow-up, and revision of the implementation plan for the users you are the contact person for. The work includes documentation/record keeping.

You have a responsibility to promote a good working environment, be familiar with guidelines, routines, and operational goals, and contribute to the operation maintaining good quality.

Working hours are scheduled throughout all hours of the day and night.

Description of the Workplace

Tallbo is part of the Functional Support operational area within the Welfare sector. The service housing has 14 apartments. You work closely with your colleagues, your unit manager, and other partners. We also collaborate with other operations within the operational area.

Your Competence

We are looking for you who are trained as a nurse assistant/caregiver or have other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience working with people with mental disabilities and neuropsychiatric functional variations. We would also like you to have knowledge in solution-focused approaches, CBT-oriented methods, low-affective handling, and MI (Motivational Interviewing). The work is documented in our operational system, which is why you also need to have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

As a person, you are self-reliant and have an easy time thinking comprehensively as well as planning and prioritizing your work. In addition, you have good collaboration skills and listen, communicate, and resolve any conflicts in a constructive way. You are sensitive and flexible and strive to meet each individual's unique needs and understand the importance of good handling towards users, relatives, and colleagues.

A Category B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
