Coaching, Development, and Collaboration

As a Specialist in Internal Insurance Control, you provide advice and support to internal auditors regarding the review of payments. Internal auditors examine payments across all benefits handled by Försäkringskassan and assess whether the correct payment was made based on the information available in each case. By coaching the internal auditors, you contribute to ensuring they have the right competencies, with a focus on understanding and knowledge of the social insurance system. You identify the overall competence needs and initiate possible development paths. You actively contribute to creating a workplace learning climate. As a Specialist in Internal Insurance Control, you are responsible for developing educational materials and introducing new employees.

The role involves contributing to the development of operations, both within the unit and for the benefit departments, and you play a key role in implementing regulatory and process changes. The assignment also includes supporting unit managers with monitoring the quality of audits and acting as a resource to the local management group on matters concerning your specialist area. As a Specialist in Internal Insurance Control, you collaborate closely with business developers and unit managers. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, as a prospective employee, have a high level of security awareness.

It is meritorious if you

  • have in-depth knowledge of social insurance, administrative law, as well as public access and confidentiality
  • have experience auditing and controlling Försäkringskassan's benefits
  • have knowledge of conducting groundwork for legal assessments
  • have good knowledge of Försäkringskassan's organization
  • have experience supporting others' competence development, at both individual and group levels
  • are accustomed to working efficiently and systematically.

Other Information

1 position, permanent, full-time, start date by agreement. Probationary employment may apply. Some positions with us involve participation in security-sensitive operations. To be employed in such a position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) is required. In accordance with Försäkringskassan's security guidelines, background checks are conducted in this recruitment. Location: Östersund.
