About the Role

As a Receptionist with us, you are often the first person the guest meets and the last to say goodbye. You are responsible for creating a professional, warm, and welcoming impression while managing the daily operations of the reception.

The reception is the hub of the hotel where much happens simultaneously. You work with check-ins and check-outs, bookings, phone, email, invoicing, and sales while helping guests with questions, requests, and information about the hotel's services and offers. You act as the hub connecting the hotel's different departments and contribute to ensuring that operations run smoothly every day.

In this role, you are also responsible for handling payments, booking inquiries, and administrative tasks, and you actively work to create a safe and secure hotel environment for both guests and colleagues. You play a key role in ensuring that hotel procedures are followed and that guests always feel welcome, cared for, and secure during their stay.

We would like you to:

• Have experience from service roles where customer interaction was a focus
• Be very system-literate and comfortable with digital tools, preferably Opera Cloud
• Have strong administrative skills and enjoy order and structure
• Be able to prioritize and remain calm even when the pace is high
• Be flexible and enjoy varying working hours
• Speak and write Swedish and English fluently
• Have a genuine interest in service and hospitality
• Experience from hotels, reception, or booking systems is a plus, but we place great emphasis on personality, drive, and service spirit.

Scope: Full-time 75–100 %
Working hours: Scheduled for day, evening, weekdays, and weekends
Employment type: Probation period of 6 months
Salary: According to collective agreement (HRF) + shift allowances
Location: Värnamo
