About the role

As an Electrical Technician, you belong to the Electrical/IT section within the Steel Plant. You play a key role in ensuring high availability and operational reliability in our production facilities. Since the business operates around the clock, you continuously monitor the facilities' functionality, analyze deviations, and initiate improvement measures in case of faults and deficiencies.

You are responsible for planning and developing maintenance activities and contributing to the creation of long-term maintenance plans. The role involves close collaboration with both production and maintenance organizations, where you act as a technical support to the manager, electrical technicians, electricians, instrument technicians, automation technicians, and maintenance planners.

You will also participate in technical projects, development initiatives, and problem-solving assignments within your area of responsibility. The section consists of automation technicians, instrument technicians, electricians, and electrical technicians, and the role reports to the section manager.

Together with engaged colleagues, you contribute to developing the business, working methods, and processes to support the company's strategies and goals. Safety, collaboration, and continuous improvements are natural parts of everyday life, where you help create the conditions for a well-functioning business and a good work environment.

Your main areas of responsibility

• Monitor facility functionality and identify improvement measures to strengthen operational stability and availability.
• Plan and coordinate actions in case of faults and deficiencies, and ensure the selection of suitable contractors.
• Decide on and develop maintenance activities together with the maintenance organization.
• Act as technical support to the manager and other roles within the business.
• Be responsible for calling and leading physical and digital meetings within the area of responsibility.
• Participate in the section's management work and, if necessary, support the business through workforce management and temporary managerial support.
• Participate in technical projects, development work, and problem-solving assignments.
• Contribute to the development of the business, processes, and working methods to support the company's strategies and goals.

About you

• Post-secondary education with an electrical focus or equivalent work experience.
• Qualification for electrical work in industrial operations.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Proactive and structured, with the ability to drive issues forward and turn ideas into practice.
• Good collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to create and maintain good relationships.
• Interest in development and improvement work, as well as a willingness to contribute to the continued development of the business.
