Are you an engaged and responsible person who wants to work with children and young people? We are currently looking for casual substitutes for preschools and schools in Umeå Municipality. As a substitute, you are a vital resource who contributes with security, learning, and joy – every single day!

We are now looking for more substitutes for the autumn of 2026. As a substitute, you have the opportunity to work at various workplaces within the municipality's preschools and primary/secondary schools, based on both the needs of the operations and your own availability. What does the job entail? The best part – no day is like another!

Preschool:
You work together with preschool teachers, childcare assistants, and special education teachers to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged approximately 1–6 years.

Primary/Secondary School (Grades F–9):
You are responsible for leading and conducting teaching independently for students aged 6–16 years. The work requires flexibility, clarity, and professionalism, as well as good teamwork skills with teachers and other educational staff.

The assignment means that you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in Umeå Municipality's preschools, primary/secondary schools, and after-school centers. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays during daytime.

Requirements for the position are:

• Completed upper secondary school qualifications or a completed childcare assistant education.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• A valid certificate of no criminal record (extract from the Swedish Police Authority's register).
