We are now looking for more substitutes for autumn 2026. As a substitute, you have the opportunity to work at various workplaces within the municipality's preschools and primary schools, based on both the needs of the operations and your own availability. What does the job look like? The best part – no day is like another!

Preschool

You work together with preschool teachers, childcare workers, and special educators to create a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for children aged approximately 1–6 years.

Primary and Lower Secondary School (Grades F–9)

You are responsible for leading and conducting teaching independently for students aged 6–16 years. The work requires flexibility, clarity, and professionalism, as well as good teamwork skills with teachers and other pedagogical staff.

The assignment means that you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work as a consultant in Umeå Municipality's preschools, primary schools, and leisure centers. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays during daytime.

Requirements for the position:

• Completed upper secondary school certificates or a completed childcare education
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• Valid extract from the Swedish Police Authority's criminal record register
