"Habilitation, Vision and Assistive Devices" is a county-wide operation offering cross-professional and specialized interventions and assistive devices for children, young people, and adults with long-term disabilities.

Your workplace

At the Adult Habilitation unit, we work with individuals over the age of 18 who have intellectual disabilities, autism, significant motor impairments, or acquired brain injuries requiring long-term rehabilitation. The Adult Habilitation unit offers interventions for adults, their relatives, and other network members. Depending on needs, we collaborate with other healthcare providers, the municipality, and other public actors.

Your responsibilities

As an occupational therapist, you are a key competence in the team surrounding the patient, working with the assessment and treatment of adults with disabilities. We collaborate both within and outside the organization, so your ability to work collaboratively is important.

It is important that you can work both independently and with others, as the work we do is highly varied depending on our patients' needs. Equally important is your interest in development work, as we are in the midst of intensive development, both in our own operations and within the field of habilitation knowledge. You will work in teams that primarily meet people with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist. Experience and competence within the target groups of habilitation are meritorious, as is experience working in habilitation or related operations.

You always keep the patient in focus and are responsible and motivated in your work. As a colleague, you are engaged and positive, contributing to good cooperation, a pleasant work environment, and good relationships. You are also independent, flexible, and adaptable to different situations.

Since we are keen to find the right person for the position, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. A driver's license is desirable but not a requirement.
