The position is combined, meaning you will work at both the midwife clinic in Knislinge and the T4 midwife clinic in Hässleholm. This provides a varied daily routine with the opportunity to contribute your skills in two different units while being part of several engaged teams.

The Midwife Clinics (BMM) in Primary Care Skåne Northeast are part of a larger organization throughout Skåne. In this area, midwives, doctors, and assistant nurses work together. In accordance with the health care district's mission, we handle normal pregnancies, contraceptive counseling, STI testing, menopause counseling, cervical screening, and HPV vaccination. We also offer parental support when needed. At our workplaces, development is a core value, evident in our work with hosting students to meet and develop tomorrow's workforce. As a midwife, we offer you the opportunity to work as a mentor and supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

As a midwife with us, you have an independent and stimulating job where you can make a significant difference for the individual through your approach and competence. We offer you an introduction tailored to your experience so that you can integrate well into the operations.

In the role of midwife, you will work with clinic duties, patient meetings both in person and digitally, parental support, and counseling regarding lifestyle habits.

Working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

We welcome you if you are a licensed midwife with eligibility to practice in Swedish healthcare. You have Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We use IT support as much as possible to facilitate care and free up time for personal meetings. Therefore, it is an advantage if you have experience working with various operational systems.

We are looking for someone who is secure and independent in their professional role. Furthermore, you see the value of a well-functioning collaboration and contribute to this by sharing your knowledge and experiences. Through your engagement and positive attitude, you create a good work climate together with your colleagues, where we all help each other to offer the best care quality for our patients. Additionally, you have a high sense of responsibility, a very good approach to people, and a great interest in development and learning. Experience in maternity care and women's health is meritorious.
