We are expanding our outpatient team within adult psychiatry in Helsingborg and are now looking for an engaged specialist physician who wants to help develop the future of psychiatric care together with us at Capio.

Since November 1, 2025, we have had a care agreement with Region Skåne. We are now making a strategic investment and expanding our operations to meet the increased need for specialized psychiatric outpatient care in the region. Therefore, we are looking for a new specialist physician in adult psychiatry to join our growing team at Capio Adult Psychiatry Helsingborg.

We offer specialized psychiatric outpatient care for individuals over 18 years old with diagnoses such as eating disorders, psychosis, anxiety syndromes, affective disorders, personality disorders, geriatric psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, as well as harmful use and addiction (excluding LARO). We also offer rTMS treatment.

At our clinic, you will work together with an engaged and multidisciplinary team of specialist physicians, resident physicians, specialist nurses, psychologists, CBT therapists, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. We are characterized by collaboration, engagement, and development. We work according to evidence-based methods, with a patient-centered and behavioral psychological foundation. Continuous competence development and supervision are standard. Our patients arrive via referral, care partners within psychiatry, or self-referral.

Our clinic is centrally located in Helsingborg, with excellent commuting options – only a five-minute walk from the train station.

Your Role

As a specialist physician with us, you will work clinically with the assessment, treatment, and follow-up of adult psychiatric patients in outpatient care. You will have the opportunity to help shape the future of psychiatry and contribute to the continued development of the practice. The position includes some on-call duties within Region Skåne's psychiatry in Helsingborg.

About You

We are looking for a specialist physician in psychiatry with experience in adult psychiatry and working with complex psychiatric issues. The position requires good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Commitment to outpatient care, evidence-based treatment, and development work is important, as is the ability to contribute to a work environment characterized by professionalism, care, and innovation in a multidisciplinary team. Experience with digital care processes or innovation within psychiatry is advantageous, as is knowledge of rTMS treatment.
