We are looking for a Registered Midwife in Region Jämtland Härjedalen

We are now offering a permanent full-time position (100%) as a midwife. Your primary workplace will be at Lugnvik Health Centre, but the work is distributed equally between Lugnvik and Zätagränd Health Centres (50/50).

About Primary Care

Primary Care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division Close Care, together with Ambulance Services, Public Dental Health Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Primary Care is organized into 4 close care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance care have been integrated under "good and close care." Each close care area is an economic unit led by a business manager. Primary Care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice, youth clinic, and the close care unit Näva, all of which are grant-funded.

At both health centres, you work during daytime hours in well-functioning and well-staffed operations together with engaged teams that put the patient first.

Lugnvik Health Centre

At Lugnvik Health Centre, we work in close collaboration between different professional groups and base our work on RAK (Reproductive and Sexual Health Care) to use our competence in the best possible way. We value a good work environment, development, and collaboration. With approximately 7,500 registered patients, we run a patient-focused operation and have close collaboration with Lits Health Centre.

Zätagränd Health Centre

At Zätagränd Health Centre, we work in close collaboration between different professional groups with broad competence within the operation. We value a good work environment, development, and collaboration. With just over 13,400 registered patients, we run a patient-focused operation and also offer support via the family centre, psychosocial unit, and rehabilitation.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of a cheerful and competent work group and perform standard tasks for a midwife in primary care. You work independently with reproductive and sexual health, pregnancy monitoring, group parenting support, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, and gynecological cell sample checks.

Qualifications

  • Registered Midwife.
  • Experience from similar tasks and work within primary care is meritorious.

We are looking for you who want to contribute to accessible and high-quality primary care with the patient and family in focus. You are engaged, flexible, and have good collaboration skills. With a sense of responsibility and initiative, you help create a good work climate and contribute to developing the operation and providing the best possible person-centered care. Due to the work being distributed across two health centres, flexibility is required.
