Your Responsibilities

As a Head Waiter/Manager here, you are responsible for daily planning and coordinating your service team of currently 10 employees. You work closely with the Restaurant Manager and serve as a support in operational management. Furthermore, you handle personnel leadership, follow-up, and actively participate in the development of the restaurant's offerings and experience concepts.

In this role, you will among other things be responsible for:

• Planning and implementing scheduling and staffing plans.
• Leading and distributing daily work within the service team.
• Ensuring a good guest experience and high service level.
• Handling cash register functions and simpler administration.
• Contributing to cost-effective operations in breakfast, coffee, and service activities.
• Being responsible for inventory and purchases related to the restaurant operations.
• Ensuring that routines for order, hygiene, and cleaning are followed.
• Introducing and training new employees.
• Participating in the planning and execution of events such as weddings, conferences, and other arrangements.

Your Background/Qualities

We are looking for you who have or have had a similar role in the industry previously. We value your ability to create good structure, engagement, and good cooperation with your employees. We believe you communicate clearly and professionally, both in meetings with guests and in collaboration with colleagues. We appreciate that you are solution-oriented and motivated by developing restaurant concepts and creating good guest experiences.

You thrive in a dynamic environment where the pace may vary and have the ability to make decisions even under time pressure. The role involves working based on the business's needs, which means you need to be flexible and have the possibility to work evenings, weekends, and other inconvenient working hours.

Requirements

• Experience from the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Experience in leadership or managerial roles.
• Good knowledge of food, drink, and service.
