Hansson & Hammar is hiring a Kitchen Assistant at IKSU

We are currently looking for a motivated and service-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our restaurant at IKSU (Student Union). We serve a lunch buffet, sandwiches, salads, and coffee, with a special focus on our daily lunch buffet.

Your responsibilities:

As a Kitchen Assistant, your duties include preparing the lunch buffet, simple cooking tasks, as well as making salads and sandwiches. You will also be responsible for brewing coffee and ensuring that the buffet always looks fresh and inviting. You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and help develop the menu.

Other duties include cash register service, cleaning, dishwashing, and other standard tasks within the restaurant industry.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is stress-resistant and enjoys order and cleanliness.
• Enjoys meeting people and is attentive to guests' needs.
• Can make quick, independent decisions when items are missing or need attention.
• Fluently speaks Swedish.
• Has a strong interest in the restaurant industry.

Experience in cooking is considered a great advantage, but the most important factor is a genuine interest in food and service. If you are the right candidate, we will provide on-the-job training.

Working hours will be arranged in agreement with the applicant.
