We are now looking for a workshop technician for our client RSE Mekaniska in Sala. Are you hands-on, have experience from the workshop industry in cutting processing, and thrive with varied tasks? Then this could be the right opportunity for you.

At RSE Mekaniska, you will work with everything from new manufacturing to repairs in a broad role where you are involved throughout the entire production process. Here, professional skill, problem-solving, and the desire to develop together with the business are valued.

Tasks

• Work in manual machines such as slide lathes, drilling machines, and turret lathes.
• Cut and prepare materials and process parts based on drawings and customer requirements.
• Participate in both new manufacturing, repair work, and recurring production.
• Contribute to order, quality, and an efficient workflow in the workshop.

Location: Sala

Employment: Full-time

Working hours: Daytime, Monday–Thursday 06:45–16:00, Friday 07:00–13:00.

About you

We are looking for you who have experience from the workshop industry and who thrive with practical and varied work. You are self-initiating, solution-oriented, and have a genuine interest in mechanical work. At the same time, you are a team player who appreciates collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.

To succeed in the role, you need to have an understanding of processing and reading drawings, as well as appreciate taking responsibility for your work from start to finish. We would like you to seek a long-term employer where you can develop over time.

Qualifications

• Experience from mechanical workshop or similar industrial operations
• Experience of turning, processing, or work in workshop machines
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Good knowledge of Swedish, in speech and writing

Merits

• Experience of slide lathes, drilling machines, or turret lathes
• Experience of CNC-controlled machines and programming
• Forklift and overhead crane certificates
• Experience of repair and maintenance work
