About the workplace

Hasslöskolan is located in a beautiful natural area with proximity to forests and the sea. The school covers grades preschool class to year 6. The school is located in the middle of the island, close to preschool, forest, sea, shops, sports field, and church.

Responsibilities

The position is a combined role involving teaching physical education (PE) and working in the after-school center (fritidshem).

Your main task will be to teach physical education in all grade levels at Hasslöskolan.

The role also involves working in the after-school center during other hours. This includes planning and leading pedagogical activities that stimulate students' social, motor, and creative skills. You will create a safe and inclusive environment where students can develop their interests and build relationships. You will collaborate with teachers and student health services to strengthen students' learning and well-being also during school hours.

You observe and follow up on students' needs and development, often through dialogue with students and guardians.

You are responsible for care, safety, and structure within the group of children during the entire opening hours of the after-school center.

Qualifications

You must be a certified teacher for after-school centers with qualifications in the subject of physical education. Subject qualification in PE is a requirement. You are well-versed in steering documents and systematic quality work. You are flexible, positive, and confident in your leadership. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability.
