It is on behalf of the government that the Swedish National Property Board (SFV) manages our shared natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, palaces and royal estates, theatres, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.
As employees, we are proud to be employed by a government agency, to work based on the state's values, and to contribute to positive societal development.
The SFV Stockholm Palace property area manages the royal palaces of Stockholm and Drottningholm, along with their surrounding palace grounds and parks, as well as several other buildings. We are approximately 20 employees working at the offices at Stockholm Palace and Drottningholm. Here, you are offered a varied role with a high degree of personal responsibility. You will work with exciting buildings where different local conditions challenge your creativity and problem-solving skills. A large part of the premises are used by the Royal Court Estates, and among our tenants are both residential and commercial tenants. We now need a Technical Property Manager for a one-year appointment in Drottningholm.
Your role
In the role of Technical Property Manager, you are responsible for maintenance projects in the properties within the Drottningholm World Heritage Site, the Svartsjö Palace area, and SLU's freshwater laboratory. You work long-term and commercially with projects of very varying nature and will also lead projects yourself. Your responsibilities include conducting condition assessments, preparing maintenance plans, budgeting, planning, and executing maintenance projects. You will primarily execute smaller maintenance projects where you act as project manager. Your role also includes calling for services in accordance with the Public Procurement Act.
SFV buildings have high cultural-historical values, which require careful and sensitive handling to preserve them for the future. Most maintenance work is carried out in close collaboration with heritage consultants, palace architects, and internal specialists at SFV. For Drottningholm, we also have close collaboration with employees of the Steward's Office. Naturally, you also collaborate with the property area's customer manager, other technical property managers, and our operations organization.
You are part of the maintenance group, which consists of three technical property managers and one customer manager. You report to the manager who is also the group leader for the maintenance group. At SFV Drottningholm, there are also four operations technicians who report to the operations manager.
