ISS is recruiting employees for our operations at the Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant!

We are looking for service staff for Ringhals for two different types of employment; employment during the refueling outage. The services we need staff for are decontamination, lifting and transport operations, as well as laundry management for protective equipment.

The work is scheduled on weekdays, weekends, evenings, and nights, according to a shift roster. There is also an option to work regular daytime hours. In that case, the work is scheduled on weekdays, 07:00–15:30.

Housing opportunities near the workplace are available. The form of employment is fixed-term.

• Ringhals R4: September 2 – October 6

About the decontamination role
Decontamination involves various common tasks such as descaling, high-pressure washing, vacuuming, drying, waste management, welding and pipe spool assembly, system cleaning, and handling of moss borders. Work at heights, in confined spaces, and with full-face masks is included.

About the laundry management/protective equipment role
We are responsible for ensuring that clean and functional protective equipment is available at the specified location in the facility. This involves handling protective clothing, helmets, shoes, and restocking supplies. Some local cleaning is also performed, primarily in controlled areas.

About the lifting/transport operations role
This involves performing safe lifts and transports within Ringhals. The tasks include transporting goods to and from designated locations within controlled and uncontrolled areas, as well as moving concrete blocks, devices, components, and similar items. Requirements include valid and approved training - KIKA, Grey, Green & Yellow (Crane operator in nuclear facilities).

Who are we looking for?

You should be service-oriented and positive, as all our staff have daily customer contact.

We believe that with a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility, we can anticipate and develop solutions for our customers' needs. We make it easy by working safely and proposing improvements. Keeping our customer continuously informed about the progress and development of the work is a given for us.

We would like you to have previous experience working at a nuclear power plant. It is important that you master the Swedish language. A B-class driver's license is meritorious. Another requirement is that you are at least 18 years old.

Other
Since the work is performed at the Ringhals Nuclear Power Plant, a medical examination and drug test will be required. All personnel at Ringhals must also undergo an approved security clearance interview.
