We need to strengthen our housekeeping team!

We are looking for meticulous and engaged employees for Housekeeping – starting immediately.

Your Responsibilities

As part of our housekeeping team, you play an important role in ensuring our guests get a fantastic first impression. You work both independently and in a team and are responsible for ensuring that our accommodations and facilities always maintain the highest standard.

You will mainly work with:

  • Cleaning of service buildings, cottages, hotel rooms, and common areas such as kitchens and laundry rooms
  • Making beds and preparing cottages and hotel rooms
  • Ensuring that common areas always feel clean, safe, and welcoming

Requirements

  • You have an eye for detail and enjoy order and tidiness
  • You are self-reliant and take responsibility for the work being performed according to our quality requirements
  • You thrive with routines but can also be flexible when needed
  • Driver's license or cycling proficiency

Merits

  • Previous experience in housekeeping and/or facility maintenance – preferably from hotels, campsites, or similar environments
  • Understanding of how cleanliness and careful work affect the guest's total experience

Employment Period and Working Hours

Seasonal employment from July to September. Working hours vary and include early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Shifts fall within the time frame 06:00–22:30.

About Us

Mellbystrands Camping is a 4-star campsite located at the coast's longest sandy beach. Every year, tens of thousands of guests choose to stay with us in caravans, motorhomes, tents, cottages, or hotel rooms.

We offer:

  • 225 camping pitches
  • 22 cottages
  • 19 hotel rooms
  • A year-round open shop, as well as a restaurant, ice cream bar, and beach bar during the summer
  • A growing team that expands from a smaller number during the low season to approximately 35 people during the high season

Since 2020, the business has been in an expansion phase with high tempo and many opportunities for the right people.
