About the Role

As a Design Engineer, you will play a central role in the business, responsible for developing technically advanced and long-term sustainable energy solutions. You will work on designing facilities for industry, housing associations, agriculture, and commercial properties, with a focus on creating robust and future-proof energy systems.

The role involves close collaboration with project management, sales, and installation teams, acting as the link between concept, design, and the final solution. You will become part of an engaged design team and ensure that each facility is optimized from technical, economic, and environmental perspectives.

Responsibilities

In the role of Design Engineer, you will among other things:

• Design energy systems within solar energy, energy storage, charging infrastructure, and energy sharing
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and project documentation
• Perform technical calculations and sizing of facilities
• Ensure projects comply with current regulations, standards, and quality requirements
• Collaborate with project managers, sales personnel, and installation teams throughout the entire project process
• Participate in technical customer dialogues and provide technical advice
• Work on developing and optimizing future-proof energy solutions

About You

We are looking for someone with a background in the electrical industry who wants to develop further within design and energy systems. You have a strong technical interest and enjoy combining practical experience with technical problem-solving.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Technical education in electrical engineering, power systems, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of work experience from the electrical industry
• Good understanding of technical calculations, drawings, and current regulations

• A-authorisation (Swedish electrical safety certification)
