About the Company

At Avaron, you get the security of permanent employment combined with the variety of working at different customers. We place specialists across everything from tech, IT and industry to project management and business support – and whatever the assignment, you have a consultant manager who is there for you and your development.

About the Role

You will work close to the products in a broad verification role focused on handheld, petrol-driven equipment such as grass trimmers, brushcutters, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws. In this environment, testing is a key part of product development: you help make sure each product delivers the right functionality, performance, durability, and quality before it reaches the user.

The role spans a large part of the development cycle. You will be involved from planning and setting up tests to execution, analysis, follow-up, and documentation. You will also work closely with design engineers, project teams, and specialist functions across R&D. This is a strong opportunity if you enjoy combining hands-on testing with technical analysis in a role where you can influence methods, measurements, and product quality.

Job Description
  • You will plan, prepare, and carry out mechanical, functional, and performance testing for handheld gasoline-powered products.
  • You will drive durability testing, long-term testing, and field testing to verify reliability in real use.
  • You will analyze test results, follow up outcomes, and report technical performance in different phases of product development.
  • You will develop and improve test methods, measurement techniques, and data collection procedures.
  • You will work with measurement and verification activities, including measurement system analysis.
  • You will design and build fixtures and test rigs that support effective and repeatable testing.
  • You will coordinate with design engineers, project teams, and specialist functions, often acting as the link between different technical disciplines.
  • You will maintain technical documentation and support related R&D activities when needed.
Requirements
  • Technical education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent technical competence gained through professional experience.
  • Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written.
  • Experience working with practical testing together with analysis and documentation.
  • Ability to work with durability, functional, and performance verification in a development environment.
  • Comfort collaborating with different functions in R&D and coordinating with technical specialists.
  • A structured way of working and the ability to adapt when priorities change.

  • Occupational pension
  • Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year
