Job Responsibilities
At Lorensborgsskolan, we are looking for you who want to be part of the ongoing journey to build up our adapted primary school. We have 36 students in 6 classes, studying both specific subjects and subject areas. You will be part of a work team with certified and experienced teachers who together plan and are responsible for the students' learning and development, along with teaching assistants and student assistants. We collaborate with the primary school in both subjects and development work; inclusion is a given at Lorensborgsskolan.
We are looking for someone who is confident in their role and naturally places the student's needs and prerequisites at the center. In your role as a mentor, you have a specific responsibility to follow up on the students' knowledge development according to the routines of Malmö City and Lorensborgsskolan. You build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with the students and create an open, positive, and professional dialogue between home and school.

Qualifications
You, as the applicant, are a special needs teacher with a specialization in intellectual disability. You are an engaged and confident teacher with clear pedagogical and relational leadership. You have the ability to create good meetings and to interact with students, guardians, and colleagues. You want to participate actively in the school's development work. You work based on the curriculum and current regulatory documents when you plan, conduct, evaluate, and document your teaching, both independently and together with your colleagues.
You follow up on teaching and student results in collaboration and dialogue with your work team, other colleagues, and student health services. You want to develop your teaching and work systematically to plan, conduct, and assess students' knowledge. You adapt the teaching based on the students' prerequisites and abilities. You have good didactic and pedagogical skills that allow you to independently lead and organize your work to create a good learning environment for our students throughout the day.
