We are looking for a Coordinating Design Manager for an authority within the electricity sector.

This is a consultancy assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role involves leading technical coordination and coordinating design between included projects within a larger cable and tunnel project. The assignment includes responsibility for technical coordination, change management, decision preparation, interface management, risk and schedule planning, as well as collaboration with design managers, specialists, project management, and administration to ensure that the project's technical goals and requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical coordination and coordinate design between included projects in close collaboration with design managers.
• Convene and lead technical coordination meetings with key roles and technical specialists.
• Ensure that the project's technical goals and requirements are met through coordinated design.
• Identify, follow up, and manage dependencies and interfaces, and conduct anchoring and decision-preparation work with relevant stakeholders.
• Lead change management and decision processes, and prepare decisions with recommendations to the main project's decision group.
• Analyze progress in change cases and monitor, update, and propose revisions to the project's routines.
• Actively participate in schedule planning, risk coordination, and management group work.

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.
• You must have at least 10 years of work experience within infrastructure/civil engineering/industry/construction, including:
• At least 5 years of experience in project or design management.
• At least 2 years of independent responsibility for technical coordination and change management within large (at least 500 million) and complex projects.
• At least 2 years of work within security-sensitive operations.
• At least 2 years of work within an administration organization.

Merits

• You have at least 2 years of work experience in a technical coordinating role within tunnel projects.
• You have at least 2 years of work experience in technical coordination of projects within the energy sector.

Other Requirements

Security Clearance: Security clearance and register control are required.
