We are looking for a new colleague for our Student Union Restaurant at Campus Johanneberg!

Chalmers Conference and Restaurants is a restaurant company with strong roots in student life and a clear focus on student benefit for students at Chalmers University of Technology. We are located in several places in Gothenburg, including Campus Johanneberg and Lindholmen Science Park. We operate several restaurant units and work with conferences, events, catering, lunch service, and bar operations.

Responsibilities

You will meet, see to, and take good care of colleagues and guests. The work also includes tasks such as food service, cash register duties, operating coffee machines, restocking goods, keeping the premises clean and tidy, and spreading a good atmosphere. Working hours are primarily during the day, Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend work occurs.

Qualifications

You get energy from working with people, and you give energy when you are among people. You understand that you are part of a whole and are therefore extremely important to your colleagues and our guests. You have at least 3 years of experience in similar tasks. Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is meritorious. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, as the role involves daily guest contact.

Employment Type

Seasonal employment at 80% from 2024-08-31 to 2027-06-04, according to the collective agreement between Visita and HRF. The employment is valid for a specific season with start and end dates as agreed.

A planned break may occur during the season. The employment continues during the break, with compensation equivalent to 65% of the employment rate.

Working hours and schedules are determined by the business and may vary during the season.
