Job Description

We are looking for several Project Engineers within Electrical, Automation, and Instrumentation to join our growing team in Piteå. The role is broad and varied – perfect for you who enjoy combining technology, problem-solving, and project management.

You will, for example, work with:

• Modernization and efficiency improvements of production processes
• New construction of production lines and capacity expansions
• Preparation of technical inquiry documents for installation and instrumentation
• Hardware engineering and programming of PLC/DCS systems
• Creation and interpretation of interlock diagrams and function descriptions
• Control engineering in collaboration with process engineers
• Project management, installation leadership, and commissioning

You will have the opportunity to grow in your role as a consultant – with support from experienced colleagues and access to AFRY's broad competence network.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

• A university degree in engineering or equivalent experience in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of tools such as AutoCAD, ElProCad, or E-plan
• Experience from the process industry, preferably in maintenance or as a consultant
• Good proficiency in Swedish and English
• Category B driver's license and Swedish citizenship (some assignments are security classified)

You are an independent problem solver who likes to take responsibility, collaborate, and deliver with quality. If you have your own customer contacts in the field, it is a big plus!
